What's in my shower/bath?

As probably all ready know, I am a HUGE fan of YouTube bloggers, my favourite being: A model recommends, hannahgeorgina24, zoella, the style diet and le floof tv!
Beauty bloggers often do things where they show/tell you what they have in their shower or bath. It may sound weird but they are strangely addictive to watch!!!! Anyway, lets crack on.
In my shower I have Soap and Glory Clean girls shower gel, White Company shampoo, Bumble and Bumble seaweed conditioner, St.Ives apricot scrub, Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, a 'poof' shower thing and a body exfoliator sponge.
Soap and Glory Clean girls- it's a beautiful looking shower gel/cream, it is quite iridescent with a shimmer but that shimmer doesn't transfer onto your body which I like as I really don't like glitter on my body. It has the classic soap and glory 'pink' scent and I would rate it 8/10.
White company shampoo- this is my shampoo that I use all the time, it is just a plain shampoo that my hair seems to absolutely love! It leaves it really clean and smooth and gets rid of frizz, so no negative comments about that! 9/10(just caus I don't like the pump on the bottle! #fussy!)
Bumble and bumble conditioner- It is a lovely product, it leaves my hair silky smooth and I cannot fault it's function BUT I don't like the smell of it... 6/10
St.Ives apricot scrub- I use this 2-3 times a week on my face and it is fantastic, it is very gritty so not suitable atall for everyday use, but when used, it leaves your skin radiant! 7/10
Now, in my bath I have mainly the same products as my shower but more luxury, indulgent products for relaxation.
Jason rose water shower gel, LUSH fun bar, Neutrogena Spot stress control daily scrub, Liz Earle deep cleansing mask, sanctuary salt scrub, radox muscle therapy bath foam, Elemis spa home body wash, body shop warming clay mask, soap and glory scrub of your life, L'occitane almond shower oil, Sanctuary foaming bath soak, Nicola Harris candle and an Espa candle.
Jason rose water shower gel- lovely natural shower gel with a lovely scent, can't fault it but I find the pump a bit difficult. 8/10.
LUSH fun bar- so much fun!!(hah pun) it is really nice product great for anything but it melts if you don't keep it in its wrapper, which then leaves a horrible stain on the side of the bath!
Spot stress control- it's ok, I had heard really good things about it, but I wasn't that impressed really. It smells really nice though! 5/10
Deep cleansing mask- lovely, smells just like manuka honey, which is one of the main ingredients, so it is really purifying and good for your skin. But my favourite mask is the Body shop one so I probably won't be re-purchasing it unless I am given it as a gift. 7/10
Warming clay mask- my favourite mask of all time! It heats up on your face and when you have left it for 10-15 minutes, it leaves your skin really smooth and it takes out all the dirt in your pores. 10/10 (I don't give 10/10 very often!)
Sanctuary salts scrub- sanctuary is a gorgeous brand of really indulgent products and I do really like the salt scrub BUT (now this is a big but) it is so oily that it leaves a really, really thick residue on your skin and it leaves a coating of it on the bottom of the bath for days and no amount of scrubbing will get it off! As a scrub it really works and its a once and week thing as it is very hard salt crystals. 7/10
Radox bath foam - nice product (I hate the word nice but I couldn't think of anything else to say!) nothing special really. 6/10
Elemis body wash- lovely scent and leaves your body squeaky clean. 7/10
Soap and glory scrub of your life- I really love this scrub, it's a scrub which also lathers up with I really like. So far my soap and glory experience has been fantastic, I can't really fault their products!
L'occitane Shower oil- this is lovely, my favourite oil and works really well as a shaving foam. It lathers up really nicely and has the most incredible scent! Can't fault it! 10/10
Sanctuary foaming bath soak- gorgeous relaxation product for the ultimate bath. 9/10
Candles- they are both lovely but don't really give off a scent, they a so nice to have with a really hot bath and some Sanctuary foaming bath soak!
I hope this helps anyone looking to re-vamp their bath or shower products.

To be or not tigi?

That is the question. As I sit here by the fire with my cat while listening to Frank Sinatra's Christmas album, while doing history and Spanish homework, I took a 5 minute(well 20 minute..) break, to read the January vogue which I got on my tablet. With Kate Upton gracing the cover, the 5 must haves at the moment are 1. Luxe backpack 2. The military dress 3. The leopard print jacket 4. The pleat-front trousers 5. The side-slit pencil skirt. All these trend are absolutely fabulous (haha love that T.V show) but at 14, not all are sorted to my age. But I do love The luxe backpack! What a great idea, to make something that most teenagers dread wearing at school, into a fashion statement.
Now, I went off the point a bit there. My main topic today is Hair products. Hair. One word. H-A-I-R
I used to think that along as your make up looked pristine that you were good to go. But no. Hair is just as import, maybe even more important. You could have the most air brushed make up but have thin, greasy hair and you have ruined your look. BUT have the odd spot and just a lick of mascara and have clean, straight/wavy locks and there you go. You have your look.
The other day my Mum was given a big pot of Biolage Medium hold hair soufflé, she didn't need it as she uses this amazing German stuff that she got while on holiday, so she gave it to me. It's just amazing. After washing your hair, you just work some through your hair and blow dry for shiny, voluptuous hair. I would highly recommend it!
The second product that I was given, was Tigi Love Peace and the world totally beachin' styling mist. It says: "No board or beach required for sexy, surfer chic tousled hair! Coconut water and sea kelp nourish hair while pineapple and sea salt add texture and body. Nature is Totally Beachin’! DIRECTIONS: Mist through damp or dry hair, scrunch in. Air dry or blow dry"
I could not recommend this more highly. It gives you a very tousled, beachy, Victoria secret look.
Finally, the answer to my question: To be or not tigi? Yes, TIGI ALL THE WAY
I am going to indulge in a mince pie now!

Apologie.......

I have been sooooooo busy lately, with more homework than you can even imagine and the normal issues that a classic example of a teenager would have...yeah I have had lots going on!
This post should be the first of many more to follow....(don't hold me to that!)... And is is just going to be a quick blog update.
FIRSTLY IT'S DECEMBER WHICH MEANS........CHRISTMAS!!!! Yes, oh yes, my favourite time of the year. Winter is full of oversized knitted cardigans, vampy lip colours, fur snoods and hot chocolates while sitting by the fire watching Made in Chelsea..(guilty pleasure). Along side Merlin, Made in Chelsea is one of my favourite shows! If any of you out there share the same love as me, then I suggest you have a look at Rosie Fortescue's blog. It's fantastic. She writes about all the outfits you see on the show and more and more fashion! http://atfashionforte.com/
I have done all my Christmas shopping already, I was in John Lewis and I got all of my family done, and all my friends done in boots! My friends are usually quite specific when it comes to what they want...*cough Grace*... And so therefore I got them exactly what they wanted. Which included, a Rimmel lipstick in 170, Nail varnish and they have 3 for 2 on all soap and glory and sanctuary products at the moment so I got some little Sanctuary luxuries and a few soap and glory goodies!
A skin update, not to bad (touch wood), but I have been getting oiler and oiler skin, which is unusual as in the winter it usually gets drier! A have been using the Liz Earle skin care products for about a month and a half and I don't look back at all! I am about to rave about the Cleanse and Polish hot cloth cleanser so prepare yourself. It is the most luxurious, creamy, gorgeous product I have ever used. It leaves your skin silky smooth and radiant! I use after wards, the Instant boost skin tonic and the Moisturiser for Combination/Oily skin. The combination of all the products is amazing, I saw results within 2 weeks.
Beauty wise, recently I have been loving the Soap and Glory Scrub of your life. It is exactly what it says it is. It is not only just a scrub, but it lathers up as well. I have been wearing the Barry M nail varnish in Rasberry a lot, (but not at school, or if I have I have been provided with cotton pads and nail varnish remover to take it off...).
I finished my shampoo (actually can't remeber which one it was!) and so I got a new one, the L'oreal Paris elvive frizz one. It's was horrible. If anything it made my hair more frizzy!
So in the meantime before I got a new shampoo, I used the White company's own shampoo. I have to say that I loved it! I loved it so much that I am still using it! It is just a really lovely, basic shampoo that does the job. Along with my Moroccan Oil that I have been using for I don't know how many years, it works really well!
Got to go and revise for a Maths mid-term exam....oh what fun
XOXO
P.s so excited to hear that Kate Middleton is pregnant!

Photography

I absolutly love photography, fashion photography being my favorite. There is just something intriguing about it. Now my best friend is my 'model' for my photography and we took some photos a few weeks ago which I have been dying to share! My best friend (who shall remain name-less) I think is the best person I have ever photographed. She is super skinny and has what I think to be great bone structure. Here are a few of my favorites

I crumbled at boots...

Not a normal title for a blog post but that was the best way to describe it! I mentioned (well did a whole blog post) on the tiny fact I had finnished my cleanser. I decided it was to exspensive to carry on buying so I said I will go into boots and see whats there. Well I decided in boots that I was going to gey either Simple products or Freederm or Clean and clear or neutrogena......in fact I decided nothing. But then I gave into the little devil hovering over my head and saunterd (getting a bit of inspiration from Miranda) over to the Clinique counter. And low and behold.....the cleanser was AS exspensive as I had initially thought!!! It was £15. I thought you know what I am going to get it and use it all up them choose what product I want to use.
But then I thought.. its still £15, £ 15 on a cleanser?? What was I thinking? As i wonderd out of boots I was in purgatory (fancy word) about whether I should return it. But I didnt and I am glad. But I promise myself I will try something else sometime.
To sum up the long post I just did, I spent £15 on a cleanser....

Cleanser Clamity

firstly sorry for the cheesy title but couldnt think of any other word that started with c to sound bad....anyway.
About 3 months ago, my mum got me the Clinique 3-step-system for oliy/combination skin which contains three products (i mentioned them in a previous post) and now I have finnished the cleanser!!! The full size is around the £17 price mark and I want a cleanser that I can afford to re purchase over and over again even when I am a poor student at university! So I think it rules out re-purchasing that. It was good but not worth the money. However the Clinique dramatically differnt moisturising gel is incredible and I am going to invest in a full size when I have finnished the travel size one as the full size lasts about a year!
Back to cleansers, there are so many choices out there that I want to try! I did some re-search about Sanctuarys products which look really nice. But once I used Clean and Clears cream cleanser and that was really nice. Although I have wanted to try freederm for a while! I will see what my choices when I get a new one! XOXO

BEAUTY CRAZY!!

Recently I have been addicted to watching beauty videos on you tube. In particular A model Recommends, zoella and pixi2woo. They are all brilliant and make u want to find tge nearest boots or beauty store and just spend spend spend. But unfortunatly I have to rely on my tinni weeny income; also known as pocket money...urgg. So I save and save and then SPEND. But when i get home I have a look over my products and realise that with £60 I really havent bought that much.
So instead of going and splurging today, I just had a massive sort out of all my products. And I found all sorts of treasures: Sanctuaty bath milk, Clinique Anti-Blemish kit and many other treats. But to be honest (tbh? nah i dont do slang), I threw out loads, so now I accutally NEED to buy more beauty products!
I have never purchased anything from Soap and Glory and therefore thats ma first stop!  Also would like to go to boots to have a little lookie at some Sanctuary products!
Got to go and watch the Paralympic opening ceremony! XOXO

Skin Care

Skin care is a very talked about subject. Skin is basically pot luck. You can be blessed with normal, not acned, perfectly pH ballanced skin or be doomed(like me) with oily/combination skin with regular breakouts. My skin isnt that bad really but I dont help it by squeezing the dreaded pimples. My T-zone gets esspecially oily. But fear not, their is a skin care product out their somewhere for you! Several brands I have tried include: Simple, Oy, Clarins, Benefit and my current one Clinique. I am using the 3-step-system for combination/oily skin. That includes Liquid facial soap, Clarifying lotion and Dramaticaly differnt moisturising gel. I couldnt recomend it more highly. I have to go but honestly its worth the £20 XOX

How to create a facebook profile picture

Everyone wants to look their best in their facebook profile pic. As a new comer to the scene of facebooking I wasnt sure what look to go for so I did some experementing. There are a few looks which are most popular accross the social nerworking site; Standing infront of a mirror with your phone, A picture using photobooth, a picture of you in your early years and of course a pic when your on holiday with your bronzed skin. My personal veiw is that you want a picture that reflects your personality. For example: my current one is of me doing a rather cheeky pose which completely sums me up! A valuble tip is give it five days and if it isnt past 7 likes then find a new one! But if you are insecure about yourself then a great choice is a pic of a completly random thing! Remember; facebook is about keeping in touch with your friends who love and respect you for who you are not for your highly airbrushed profile pic. XOX

The benefit of Benefit

Sometimes when i go into a beauty store looking for a new mascara or tinted moisturiser I am overwhelmed with the enourmous selection of brands! If I am in a good mood I will take the time to look around and make a valued decision. But if I am in a mood where the last thing I want is to be searching through all the brands for beauty products then I will just walk away. I have done this so many times that I decided to choose a brand and stick with it. Now, I have broken this promise a few times when there is a specific product I have wanted to try, but on the whole I just stick to one. I have tried so many differeny brands including; Clinique, Maybelline, L'oreal Paris, and sometimes I borrow my mums Chanel make up. But my current make up brand is the highly recomended Benefit. For starters I love the branding and packaging and the product names they come up with are just pure genius! In their vast range of make up there is sure to be something you havent tried yet. My everyday make up is Benefit(but to be honest I dont wear make up everyday, only if I am going out or have a HUGE BREAKOUT because it causes my skin to become really oily and who wants greasy looking skin!) but sometime I may throw on a bit of Clinique or whatver is in my make up bag. My make up motto is Natural. I hate the caked up looked on young teenagers. The make up look i go for is just enhancing what you have allready. Now, I never ever ever wear eye shadow. I really dont like the look of it on younger people. Its fine if you put on a bit of colour for a party (personally I dont) but my friends do and they always look lovely. The benefit of Benefit is a natural complection and a brand that is suitible for any kind of skin and face.

My first blog

I am a 13 year old girl in her crucial element. I have all the baggage that comes with being a teenager;stress, acne, longing to grow up, GCSE's.....etc. I decided to create a blog that fellow teenagers can relate to. I will be posting about fashion and beauty to photography and having crazy friends! XOX
